The first thing I&#8217;ve finished doing is winding an impossibly tangled ball of yarn that I dyed in the washing-machine. Folks, never dye 4-ply cotton in the washing-machine.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;unless you have the patience to spend many, many hours turning it from this:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3123\/2581565526_c4fc88fd95.jpg?w=950\" style=\"width: 361px; height: 273px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>into this:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3135\/2688362825_7a16199301.jpg?w=950\" style=\"width: 361px; height: 272px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I photographed it with my nasturtiums because the colours are quite similar and I love the way the red looks against all that green&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3119\/2689175300_5389bd6ca2.jpg?w=950\" style=\"width: 358px; height: 478px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I have knit up a swatch and gotten gauge for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.garnstudio.com\/lang\/en\/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=81&amp;d_id=27&amp;lang=us\">the top I want to make out of this yarn<\/a>, so that&#8217;s another small task completed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3251\/2689178356_b680ae2ac7.jpg?w=950\" style=\"width: 355px; height: 268px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I just have to press it now.
