I spent today sawing and drilling and swearing at broken drill bits and I shall spend tonight editing audio and writing a script. Why? Because tomorrow I am setting up my work for Oxford Brookes’ Audiograft<\/a><\/em> festival. Before I get right back onto tonight’s editing and varnishing, I wanted to share with you here the preview podcast which I produced a couple of weeks back. This hopefully gives some sense of the kinds of things you can see and hear at the festival, if you’re near Oxford during this week; <\/p>\n

I will be presenting a reworked version of my TEA MUSEUM<\/a>, plus the new SONIC TUCK SHOP MUSEUM, complete with audio tourguide and fancy, updated graphics. Mark will also be accompanying me in this audio, for I am experimenting with different ways of creating narratives and working with recorded voices (more of this soon!) In the TEA MUSEUM there will be all the items which were last represented at Jelly’s afternoon TEA PARTY<\/a>, plus a fancy item-guide which will feature illustrations such as this image of the knitted teabag<\/a>; <\/p>\n

THE SONIC TUCK SHOP MUSEUM will give an explanation and history to the evolving ideas of SONIC TUCK which began with my POPWORKS video a few years ago, and which continues still via my obsession with the sounds of different foodstuffs.<\/p>\n
