I found it very emotional filling out my &#8216;I race for&#8230;&#8217; card and thinking about the people I know who have Cancer. I also found it overwhelming and a significant milestone for me to be able to run.<\/p>\n<p>This is me a year ago at WOMAD, where I hired a scooter for the day because I was in too much pain to walk:<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 354px; height: 265px;\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1203\/539003349_11286c7505.jpg?w=950\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Admittedly I am pulling the stupid &#8216;look at me I&#8217;m drinking cider&#8217; face in this picture, but it&#8217;s a massive transformation all the same and I am glad for my new drugs and the superpowers they bestow upon me.
