The emphasis in the I SPY book on Oyster mushrooms having a distinctly grey or black top left me feeling slightly doubtful about these rather white specimens. However, having researched a little online I am very confident now that in spite of their pale complexion, these are indeed Oyster mushrooms.<\/p>\n<p>Hurrah for curiosity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday morning, walking near Nuney Green, I SPIED some Oyster mushrooms, growing on a branch!
