Socks’n’String

The Reading knitting group Sticks’n’String continues to grow! Yesterday, through complete coincidence, everyone present was knitting socks. One of the best things about knowing other knitters is learning how many different ways there are to make one type of garment.

Here are our various socks:

Me: Jaywalker pattern, 2.25mm bamboo dpn needles, Lorna’s Laces in Seaside colourway;

Ruth: Monkey pattern, 2.75mm circular needle, dk knits monochrome dream toes yarn in pink;

Abi: Own design pattern, 2mm bamboo dpn needles, Fyberspates merino sockwool in chocolate violet;

Sara: Own design pattern (creeping jungle fungu is working title) Lorna’s laces shepherd sock and silkwood handpainted yarn in greengate colourway;
