Messy Tuesdays Flickr Fun…

I noticed this on Lara’s blog, and immediately felt the need to create a Messy Tuesdays version of the questionnaire and photomontage, using the magic of flickr toys.

This is what the amazing Big Huge Labs Mosaic Maker generated out of my flickr search answers:

This is how it works:

The concept:

a. Type your answer to each of the questions below into Flickr Search.
b. Using only the first page, pick an image.
c. Copy and paste each of the URLs for the images into fd’s mosaic maker).

The Questions:

1. Where in your house is the most longstanding mess?

2. Does your mess live in piles, drawers, cupboards or wherever you can cram it?

3. What is the last thing you tidied?

4. What was the last housework related appliance that you used?

5. Where is your favourite mess?

6. Where is your favourite tidied area?

7. What is the last thing that you put into the ‘to deal with later’ category of your things?

8. What is the last food-preparation mess you created?

9. Which items are least organised in your life: books/CDs/Yarn etc.?

10. Identify something you have been meaning to do for ages and just haven’t gotten around to doing.

11. List one thing you can see at the moment which hasn’t been ‘put away’ yet.

12. If your mess was audible, what would it sound like?

I believe Craftapalooza began this game on flickr… it is much fun. I can’t believe how many images exist on flickr… exciting images, things you’d never normally find. This game reminds me a lot of Dada poetry.

There will soon be a more official list of Messy Tuesdays related questions for the Radio Show; doing this was a warm-up exercise in that zone…
