The relationships between imagination, knitting, a sense of place, and local traditions were always the main focus of <em>Knit Weekly<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some examples of Knit Weekly, looking variously at spider silk as an inspirational textile; at the connections between Morris Dancing and knitting; at dyeing yarn with black walnut dye and using local brickwork as a design source for knitting patterns; at exploring the fleece of a local, Cotswold sheep; and at touring around Filkin&#8217;s Woollen Mill in the Cotswolds.<\/p>\n<p>To contact me about using or repurposing this audio, please email felixbadanimal(at)hotmail(dot)com.
