I just listened to The Sound of Sport – http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b010r7cl – on Radio 4 and thought of you. It’s a fascinating insight in to the art (and trickery) employed in recording the sporting soundscape.
Felix – In the late fall when my son was home from school we went to a lecture/performance of a group called The Books. Every time I read one of your posts I think of how much you would enjoy their music/philosophy/library. They have recorded hundreds of thousands of sounds and then use that to compose new music. I’m sure you have heard of them but I wanted to pass it along. Enjoy the day.
