Baby knitting.

In the rush up to Christmas and faced with the panic of not knowing exactly what to get for various newborns, I have been trawling the Ravelry queues for beauteous baby knits and casting on wildly about myself as if deranged. Somewhere between completing a pair of booties and a norwegian hat pattern, I have become utterly hooked. So much so that I am now considering spending the day knitting the moss-edged cardigan I have admired in Katie’s incredible Ravelry projects for so long. This is naughty; there are many other things I need to be doing like writing up the FRRS, writing some articles I’m working on, writing up patterns etc. etc. etc. but you know what? When the knitting fever burns like this, you just have to submit to it.

I will have to supply you with pictures at another point or surprises will be spoiled.
