Tea and Cake

Today has been enhanced by the combination of tea and cake. After interviewing Kate for the Perfect Cup of Tea feature of The Fantastical Reality Radio Show, I’ve started drinking vast quantities of loose leaf tea on her recommendation. It is amazing stuff, especially in terms of how strong you can make it… And today I made a tea brack with loose leaf tea. It definitely improves the flavour to use a darker brew.

The other cakes I have been working on today were not as edible as the brack, but were equally pleasing in other ways. Observe this fine french fancy card with matching envelope:

…and this rather pleasing chocolate and rose cake writing paper:

I also like the original cake card design, especially with its matching envelope.

…and the little stickers I made to go with.

I put the whole lot together into one enormous stationery package of dreams and listed it in my Etsy store. Individual cards will be listed as soon as I can get everything photographed and have the postage worked out.
