Xmas Swap

Today’s post is going to be image-heavy to compensate for my being away from tomorrow until Sunday. The advent calendar images for those days will have to be posted retrospectively, as I’m in Italy for those days accompanying The Man on his work Xmas do.

I feel very lucky to be going away, and excited about the break.

In the meantime, the enormous pile of beautiful stock that I made for The Nightfair Before Christmas event is now sitting in my home looking rather sad. It is terrible to see postcards not being sent, prints not being pinned to walls, CDs remaining unplayed and button-badges that don’t get to adorn collars and suchlike. I am therefore proposing a crafty swap.

Much of the stuff is now listed in my etsy shop but I’m also proposing to swap some of it here.

I will put together several Missability Care Packages each containing signed, limited edition screen-prints, hand-printed CD covers and CDs featuring episodes of The Missability Radio Show. There will also be postcards and button-badges in the care package, and miscellaneous, textile-based goodness. I have made some lovely pincushions and have some little packs of oddments to go towards walking stick cosy designs or Christmas ornament knitting which may be included. The package will include a handwritten letter from me, detailing the exchange.

To have me send you one of these care packages you need only email me (check my blogger profile for details of my email) with an outline of what you would like to send me in return and an address.

I am interested mostly in swapping for other people’s handmade items; especially artist editions or small, home-made things.

So you can get a sense of what you might get in the swap:

Christmas knitting oddments and a submission form for The Knitted Walking Stick Cosy Competition, should you decide to enter.

Hand-printed, editioned (1/8) CD cover and CD of The Missability Radio Show. (I have all three episodes packaged up in this way; care-packages would contain all three shows.)

Say it with knitting button badge.

Christmas colours Missability Radio Show button badge.

Handmade by Missability pincushion in characteristic polka dots and yellow.

Screenprint of original, Missability Radio Show posters. (These have been cropped to A4, editioned and stamped.)
