Am pretty tired and my head is spinning with college stuff and plans for a currently-secret-knitting-competition I have planned! [watch this space]
Other than that I have nothing new to report; Kiri shall resume the moment I get to that point in my priorities pile. (Haha probably in about ten years time!)
The knitters have been completely amazing this week; our Bluestockings meeting Wednesday last filled me with excitement and hope and I was totally energised when I left, filled with the words of talented craftsters who are generous with their ideas and skills and really helpful to talk to. Amazing. Thanks guys! You all have no idea how much you helped me out last Week. I also left with a pocket full of birthday present woolfat soap from Liz, which added to my joy enormously! It smells so nice I am tempted to reserve it for self-treating baths only, but on the other hand it just seems so appropriate to the felt-making process and also probably much more forgiving on the hands than the usual soap I use for wet felt making… So we shall have to see. In all probability it shall accompany me both to felt-making sprees of delight and to long baths!
Right now I have to go and record another interview for the show. And today, much patchworking has happened which shall be blogged and flickred later. In the meantime, the disability equipment design project continues to fill my brain up during all available moments.
