In my own knitting life, the Kiri is sadly neglected but optimistically sitting in my basket where it hopes to get some loving attention this weekend in between Harry Potter and Mark’s living room paint job. I feel I have been a bad influence on him. He was giggling like an errant child earlier describing how somehow he ended up with something called Candy Love #1 for the living room ceiling and how he is now ducking under the immense force of this colour every time he goes in and out of the room. I think my obsession with extremely bright colours has infected him. Not entirely though: He did confess to waking up this morning though and wondering to himself if he shouldn’t replace the loud pink colour with ‘a nice light blue.’
