The Winner!

I am happy to announce here that the winner of the Coronation Knits blog tour competition is Susie in Minnesota!

Here is Susie’s comment;

As a girl, I also obsessed with princess styling… only I still do rather favor them! However, instead of giant hoop skirts, I now like a simple fulled skirt at my natural waistline that ends just at my knees. Luckily for me, this fits in perfectly with many of the vintage styles!

Happily Susan’s wonderful book is full of patterns which will totally enhance Susie’s princess-style, vintage wardrobe.

Here is a video showing how the winner was picked, featuring the peerlessly handsome Mark;

I will email both Susie and Susan with details on the prize!

Congratulations, Susie! You are on your way to knitting one of the wonderful designs in Coronation Knits.

ETA: After I emailed Susie, she wrote back to let me know that – in fact – she already had won a copy of Coronation Knits elsewhere on the blog tour! Therefore we had to do a re-draw.

I am delighted to report that the results of the re-draw are IN, and the winner is Nic, AKA Laliloo, who let me try on her amazing Warriston at Woolfest, and who had this to say about Susan’s book:

OK. I have dithered for too long about buying this gorgeous book. Why I didn’t pick one up at the weekend, when the lovely Susan was on the stand opposite to Fyberspates, I have no idea! Your brilliant interview and the talk about the colours has finally convinced me that I need, at the very least, a Princess cardigan of my very own. And definitely in Excelana – I love that wool so much. Lovely blog post.

Congratulations Nic, I will email you directly!
