The Missability Radio Show is live!!

The first podcast from The Missability Radio Show has gone up onto the site along with masses of show notes, loads of new pictures, and a revised knitting competition page, which I am still working on. Thanks to Mark for this brilliant photo:

It’s been lovely to be in touch with both of the winning knitters; they were both very pleased and said it had made their day to win. I responded with effusive praise for their *STUNNING* designs. The entries were really of a very high standard and I would like to reiterate here that I thought all the cosies were amazing. The choices are all described in more detail on The Missability Website and when I get time I shall expand on the existing information. I am really grateful to everyone who entered the competition, to all those people who have supported and promoted it, and of course to The Oxford Bluestockings knitting group without whose help I couldn’t have pulled this off. Liz, Kirsty, Lara, Katie, Abby, Ellen, Ruth and Aliki*, your input on the opening night of The Missability Radio Show was amazing and really made the show.

I want also to thank Mark for his amazing support with this project. What a star. Will has been brilliant also, going up ladders every five minutes for me to switch on cameras and projectors for me. Thank-you.

I now need to organise Round#2 of The Knitted Walking Stick Cosy Competition and am planning to publicise it in ways other than the Missability Website at the start of October. Between now and then I must write up the process of The Missability Radio Show and hand it in to college, enrol for my PhD and work out where to store all my stuff while I’m selling it and downsizing, ready to move in with Mark in November!! It shall be a busy time, but hopefully not as busy as it has been. The sun is pouring in through the window, I’ve had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages and there are two more days of beautiful Missability Radio Show installation management ahead of me before it’s over.

Thank heavens for Wonderweb.

*Aliki, your cosy was one of the star attractions of the show!
