When making a studio in an outdoors garage that has been full of junk for many years, the first thing one needs to conquer is the junk. The second, is one’s fear of spiders.
I suspect this one won’t be giving up its web without a fight…
I have to confess here, though, that by far the scariest thing I found today was the pile of books in the garage. Many of them have been placed in the charity shop pile, (including the wonderfully titled ‘You can’t afford the luxury of a negative thought’) but the following terrifying titles have remained in our lives despite my protests:

The Official Guide to Success
The Go Getter
Seven Strategies for Wealth and Happiness
No wonder he is not faring well with my intermittent despair and sense of overwhelm re: the imminent move! Perhaps I should read all the books and cultivate a less defeatist outlook.
